The Marshall Recreation
Center is putting on the 2011 Bun Run/Walk 5K
on Saturday, July 30th in downtown
Huntington. All proceeds benefit the Children’s
Hospital at Cabell Huntington
Hospital.
Early registration costs
$20 and Race Day/Late Registration costs $25.
Checks should be made payable to WV Hot Dog
Festival. Payment and registration can be
returned via postal mail, in person, or by fax

Fourteen different age groups
(ranging from 9 & under to 70 & up) and
three categories (community/open, stroller, and
wheelchair) will be offered.
The 5K (3.1 mile) course starts
between 8th and 9th streets on Veterans
Memorial Boulevard and the finish line will be
located on Veteran's Memorial Boulevard behind
Pullman Square.
Awards will be presented to the
male and female: overall top finisher, top
three finishers in each age group, top three
finishers in the wheelchair division, and top
three finishers in the stroller division (no
duplication of awards).
Packet Pick-Up will take place
on Friday, July 29th from 3 pm-7pm
at Pullman Square and on Saturday, July
30th from 6:45am-7:45am at Big Sandy
Arena Plaza.
