Student Health Education Programs

Intergrated within the Marshall Recreation Center is a Wellness Center that houses Marshall University Student Health Education Programs. Amy Saunders and her crew provide a wide range of educational classes during each semester, plus sponsor and conduct a variety of health clinics for the Marshall community.

An office of Student Affairs, SHEP is a free resource which provides wellness opportunities, substance abuse prevention, and health education to Marshall University Students.

SHEP’s goal is to help students achieve wellness through the promotion of healthy lifestyle habits and choices. The lifestyle decisions that students make now will affect them later in their lives. Marshall University is committed to helping students to make healthy, responsible, choices, concerning their own well-being.
