General Information 

The Healthy Herd™ Youth camps are a series of one week camps for children between the ages of 5-13 hosted by Marshall Campus Recreation in the Marshall Recreation Center. The Healthy Herd™ Youth Camps emphasize developing healthy lifestyles through participation in physical and educational activities. Campers in need of financial assistance to attend the Healthy Herd™ Youth Camps may qualify for a camp scholarship. Scholarships are available based on private funding. Availability of funds and scholarships vary from year to year and case to case.

DROP TILL YOU SHOP – Parents, do you still need to get your shopping done?  Then drop off the kids at the Rec Center for a day of arts & crafts, holiday themed games, swimming and fun so you can head out and finish up that last minute shopping. 

 

WINTER OLYMPICS – Join us for this four-day camp as we host our Winter Olympics Healthy Herd™ style!  Competitions will include a snowman making competition, Popsicle eating relays, sleigh races and our own version of curling! 

 

A TYPICAL DAY AT CAMPS – The daily Healthy Herd™ Youth Program schedule is designed to integrate physical activity, educational opportunities, and leisure pursuits.  Campers will participate in sports, activities, swimming, indoor rock climbing, personal wellness education and team building challenges.

WHAT TO BRING:

Appropriate Clothing Closed Toed Shoes ● Water Bottle ● Swimming Gear ● Gym Bag ● Towel

Notice: We will be doing activities on the Rock Wall some children may not be big enough to fit in the child harness safely. The camp staff has discretion that is in the best interests of the campers and may find an alternative activity. Please contact us and we can have your child test the harness before you sign up. Patrons that sign up the day of will not receive any form of discount.
