Campers should be dropped-off at the Marshall Recreation Center loading zone located on 5th Avenue directly west of 20th Street. Due to the limited size of the loading zone, parking will be limited to 2 minutes. If a parent needs to enter the facility, they must find their own parking and bring the camper into the facility. The lot across 20th Street is permit parking regulated by Marshall University. The check-in area will be clearly marked and camp staff will be on site to greet campers. All staff will wear a staff T-shirt with ""Healthy Herd Youth Camps"" clearly written on it.
Directions
From I64 Westbound:
Use Exit 11 (Hal Greer Blvd) Turn right at the end of the ramp toward Hal Greer Blvd. Continue along Hal Greer Blvd. to the 5th Ave. intersection. Turn right on 5th Ave.; the Marshall Recreation Center will be on the left just past Twin Towers East and before 20th St.
From I64 Eastbound:

From US52 (Ohio) Eastbound:
Follow US52 eastbound into Chesapeake. Cross the Ohio-West Virginia bridge. Turn left onto 5th Ave. and continue along 5th Ave. to the Marshall Recreation Center loading zone just past Twin Towers East and before 20th St.
Camper Check-out Area
Campers should be picked-up at the Marshall Recreation Center loading zone located on 5th Avenue directly west of 20th Street. Check-out area will be clearly marked. Children will only be allowed to leave with authorized persons. A photo ID will be required for checking out children. We will not release your child to walk, meet you outside, or leave with someone other than those listed on the registration form without written consent.
Late Fees for Check Out
Your child should be checked-out by 4:20 PM for normal hours or 5:45 PM if signed up for After Care program. If your child is not picked up by these times, a late fee of $10 will be assessed. All fees are due and payable before the child will be allowed back to camp.
Early Departures
Early departures can usually be accommodated, provided advance notice is given. Please provide written notice to staff at check-in or check-out one day in advance. Parents picking up their children early may do so at the front desk of the Marshall Recreation Center.
