The centerpiece of the Aquatic Center is our 100,000 gallon leisure pool. It has a multi-use design incorporating three 25 yard lap lanes, sweeping-stair entry, water-basketball hoop, a vortex and areas for instruction, therapy and leisure swimming. To better suit a wide variety of uses, the water temperature is kept at 82 degrees. In addition, the aquatic area features a 3000 gallon, 20 person hot water spa and an adjacent outdoor patio. Water exercise equipment is available for participant usage, including kickboards, and pull buoys.In addition to recreational and lap swimming, aquatic programs will include youth and adult Learn-To-Swim classes, water aerobics and lifeguard training. |
